What are the latest rules for entering Australia?

Recently the Australian government has also announced new entry regulations: travelers are prohibited from bringing more than 350ml of liquid and powder items on board international flights, including domestic flights departing from international terminals.

According to Australian government regulations, powders are now categorized into two types: organic powders and inorganic powders. Organic powders include baby milk powder, powdered food, coffee powder, protein powder, flour, paprika, sugar, most cosmetics and bath salts, etc. These items can be boarded, but need to be subject to the same rigorous inspection as liquids; inorganic powders include salt, bath salts, sand, some talcum powder, some powdered antiperspirant, foot medication powder, laundry detergent and so on, and these powders, although not completely banned from boarding the plane, are must be limited to less than 350ml (350g).

Australian Customs Prohibited Items:

Australian Customs prohibits the importation of drugs, steroids, weapons, firearms and protected wildlife into Australia. Certain common items such as fresh or packaged food, fruit, eggs, meat, plants, seeds, hides, soil and sand are also prohibited.
