Article 667 A loan contract is a contract under which a borrower borrows money from a lender, returns the money to the lender at maturity and pays interest on the money borrowed.
Article 668 A loan contract shall be in written form, unless otherwise agreed between natural persons for borrowing money. The contents of a loan contract generally include the type, currency, purpose, amount, interest rate, duration and repayment method of the loan.
Article 669 To conclude a loan contract, the borrower shall, at the request of the lender, provide the true picture of the business activities and financial situation related to the loan.
Article 670 The interest on the loan shall not be deducted from the principal in advance. If the interest is deducted in advance from the principal, the loan shall be returned with interest calculated in accordance with the actual amount borrowed.
Article 671 If the lender fails to provide the loan in accordance with the agreed date and amount, and causes loss to the borrower, the lender shall compensate for the loss.
