Are high voltage lines harmful to people?

There are hazards to people. But cloth high-voltage lines, is after careful calculation and consideration, as long as it is not intentional to contact and close, generally will not appear dangerous.

1, high-voltage electricity on the human body is the impact of electric shock and electromagnetic waves. In the high-voltage electricity around the work, there should be moderate protective measures and maintain a safe distance, otherwise the first high-voltage electricity should be disconnected before construction, to avoid death by electric shock.

2, the minimum distance between the line and the ground, in the case of the maximum calculated arc sag, should not be less than the following values:

(1) medium-voltage lines (6-10kV) through the residential areas not less than 6.5 meters, medium-voltage lines (6-10kV) through the non-residential areas not less than 5.5 meters;

Safety Distance

Line and the ground

The minimum distance between the line and the ground shall not be less than the following values in the case of maximum calculated arc sag:

Low-voltage line (380V) through residential areas is not less than 6 meters, and low-voltage line (380V) through non-residential areas is not less than 5 meters;

Medium-voltage line (6-10 kV) through residential areas is not less than 6.5 meters, and medium-voltage line (6-10 kV) through non residential areas is not less than 5.5 meters;

35~110kV lines through residential areas is not less than 7 meters, 35~110kV lines through non-residential areas is not less than 6 meters, 35~110kV lines through difficult traffic areas is not less than 5 meters;

154~220kV lines through residential areas is not less than 7.5 meters, 35~110kV lines through non-residential areas is not less than 6.5 meters. residential areas not less than 6.5 meters, 35 ~ 110kV lines through the difficult traffic areas not less than 5.5 meters;
