The blood storage facilities of medical institutions should be guaranteed to be in good condition; the environment for blood storage should be in accordance with hygienic standards.
Whole blood and red blood cell refrigeration temperature should be controlled at 2 to 6 ℃;
Platelet temperature should be controlled at 20 to 24 ℃ (shaking conditions);
Fresh frozen plasma storage temperature should be controlled at -20 ℃ or less;
Cold precipitation storage temperature should be controlled at -20 ℃ or less;
So, the blood that you have raised need to specify which component of the blood it is. For short-term storage, a normal refrigerator doesn't have much of a problem. For long term storage and large quantities, it is best to use specialized, compartmentalized storage. Also, blood products should not be stored mixed with other things to prevent cross-contamination.
