Several points of using visual AIDS in speech

Visual AIDS include: projectors (computers, laser pens, mice), wall charts, whiteboards and things needed in speeches.

1. Before starting the speech, make sure that all these devices are available, preferably with a backup (USB).

2. Don't point your finger at ppt, or scan ppt with a laser pen, but locate it.

1. Large font+dark color. Don't use yellow text. Make sure the audience in the last row can see it. It's best to go to the scene to confirm in advance.

2. Different colors represent different contents.

3. All abbreviations and abbreviations should be fully explained.

4. A speech has 7- 10 slides, and each slide only presents one main point or key point. No more than six lines, no more than six words per line.

Don't throw away all your content at the beginning, have a rhythm.

6. Don't put unnecessary slides on it.

1. After 3-4 slides, ask the audience, "Are there any questions? Can I continue? " If there are no questions, let me ask you a question.

2. Say, "Attention, everyone!" To catch the audience's attention, you must also pay attention to the needs of your audience.

Please keep your mouth shut when watching ppt. The same is true when writing a whiteboard. Don't talk while writing.

4. Don't turn off your phone during the Q&A session. If you turn off your cell phone, you are signaling to your audience that your speech is over.
