Functions of X-ray equipment

Let me introduce the equipment first: X-ray machine.

X-ray machine is a device for generating X-rays, which is mainly composed of X-ray tube and X-ray machine power supply. The X-ray tube is composed of cathode filament, anode target and vacuum glass tube. The power supply of X-ray machine can be divided into two parts: high-voltage power supply and filament power supply. The filament power supply is used to heat the filament, and the high-voltage output ends of the high-voltage power supply are located at both ends of the cathode filament and the anode target respectively. High-voltage electric field is provided to accelerate the active electrons on the filament to reach the anode target, forming a high-speed electron flow. There are two ways to produce X-rays: bremsstrahlung and characteristic radiation. Braking radiation: after high-speed electrons suddenly decelerate, their kinetic energy is released in the form of X-rays; Characteristic radiation: high-speed electrons hit atoms and electrons in the outer orbit, making them free and releasing energy, which is X-ray.

X-ray shutdown is widely used in various fields of medical care, science education and industry. For example, X-ray machines can be used in hospitals to help doctors diagnose diseases, for industrial nondestructive testing, and for safety inspection of railway stations and airports.
