Construction Technology of Wave Conduit

Wave conduit section installation consists of wave conduit assembly and terminal parts at both ends. A waveguide section is installed with 1 fixed bracket, and the waveguide can expand outward from the fixed bracket due to temperature change. In order for the waveguide to expand easily, sliding brackets are installed at a fixed distance to allow the waveguide to slide easily. Waveguide installation requires 5 steps: (1) marking the position of the waveguide bracket (from the fixed bracket to the end of the waveguide) on the roadbed, (2) drilling holes in the concrete roadbed, (3) installation of the waveguide section, (4) electrical connection, and (5) installation inspection. In step 3, the waveguide section installation was divided into two cases according to the total length of the waveguide: if the waveguide length was less than 50 m: the fixing bracket for the short waveguide section was installed near the beginning of the section. If the waveguide section is longer than 50 m, a reinforced fixing bracket is installed in the middle of the waveguide section. For short waveguide sections (total length <50m) the fixing bracket is mounted on the 2nd flange. If mounting at the 2nd flange is not possible, the Fixed Bracket can be mounted on the flange closest to the 2nd flange, but mounting the Fixed Bracket at the first flange is prohibited. For long waveguide sections (total *** length >50m) the fixed bracket is installed in the middle of the section, if the fixed bracket can not be installed in the middle of the waveguide section, the fixed bracket can be moved to the left or right by 12m.For the position of the sliding bracket, the principle of &the first sliding bracket is 1.17m away from the fixed bracket# and the distance between the two sliding brackets is 2.35m should be followed. ' principle. The following 16 items were checked after waveguide installation, namely: (1) The reinforced fixing bracket of the waveguide was installed in the middle of the waveguide (the exact position was defined in the layout drawing). (2) The short fixing bracket of the waveguide is mounted on the 2nd flange of the first waveguide. (3) The distance between the sliding bracket and the waveguide flange is always greater than or equal to 50 cm.(4) The distance between the two sliding brackets is about 2.35m. (5) For outdoor installations, any waveguide attachment is covered by a plastic protective cover. (6) For outdoor installations, the waveguide cover is equipped with square strips. (7) For outdoor installations, each flange is covered by a plastic protective cover. (8) Any waveguide coaxial cable mounted on a TGC (coaxial cable to waveguide connection device) requires a loop to be made to prevent the waveguide from being damaged when it expands. (9) Mechanical protection needs to be installed on the outside of the coaxial cable to prevent the coaxial cable from being damaged when maintenance personnel step on it. (10) Layout drawings are updated. (11) Electrical connections are completed. (12) For indoor installation, the distance between the waveguide flange and the coaxial cable pinch fixed to the waveguide is greater than 5 cm.(13) For outdoor installation, the distance between the edge of the terminal protection cover and the coaxial cable pinch fixed to the waveguide is greater than 5 cm.(14) The Fixed Bracket Installation Checklist (Long Waveguide Sections and Short Waveguide Sections) has been filled out and added to this checklist. (14) The Fixed Bracket Installation Checklist (Long Wave Conduit Section and Short Wave Conduit Section) is completed and added to this checklist. (15) Sliding bracket installation checklist is completed and added to this checklist. (16) The checklist for double groove flange with membrane should be completed and added to this checklist. If all of the above 16 indicators are qualified, then the waveguide section installation quality assessment is qualified, otherwise it must be reworked.
