In addition to these, there are other information to be clear, the items are too numerous to list.
You have to have a general cognizance of the listing of the Tax Rules. There are sixteen categories and ninety-seven chapters in the Code, and you need to have a rough idea of what each category and each chapter is probably about. In this way, you can initially read your product is which category and which chapter of things.
To determine a good class and chapter, and then to determine the items. This time, you have to look at the class notes, chapter notes and item notes, some codes have subheading notes.
As for determining the specific code, you need to know the general rules of categorization. General rules of categorization in the "Tax Rules" before there is written. Although there are only 6 rules, it seems simple, but in fact, it is not easy.
After you have done this, you can go online to Baidu to find a website where you can check the hs code, enter the name of the commodity, and see what codes are available. Compare it with your own estimated code. If there is a discrepancy with the codes you found yourself, look at the item notes for those codes and compare which item your product is more in line with.
After doing this, you can also check the classification decision to see if Customs has issued a classification decision for a similar product.
By doing so, you can usually find the corresponding code of the product. If you can't, you can also refer to the customs broker's advice.
If your product is more complex, so still can not find the code, then it is recommended to find a third-party pre-categorization of enterprises to inquire about categorization or find the Customs and Excise Department out of the pre-categorization of the ruling.
