(1) To take the basic examination for registered chemical engineers, one of the following conditions shall be met:
(1) Bachelor degree or above in this major or similar major.
(2) Obtained a college degree in this major or a similar major, and worked in chemical engineering design for a total of 1 year.
(3) Obtain a bachelor's degree or above in other engineering majors and have been engaged in chemical engineering design for 1 year.
(2) To take the professional examination of registered chemical engineer, one should pass the basic examination or meet the exemption conditions, and meet one of the following conditions:
(1) Having worked in chemical engineering design for 2 years after obtaining the professional doctorate; Or after obtaining a similar professional doctorate, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 3 years.
(2) After obtaining a master's degree in this major, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 3 years; Or after obtaining a master's degree in similar major, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 4 years.
(3) Obtained a double bachelor's degree including this major or graduated from the postgraduate class of this major, and has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 4 years; Or after graduating from a double bachelor's degree or graduate program in a similar major, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 5 years.
(4) After obtaining a bachelor's degree or a degree that has passed the professional education evaluation, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 4 years; Or after obtaining a bachelor's degree or degree that has not passed the professional education evaluation, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 5 years; Or after obtaining a bachelor's degree or degree in a similar major, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 6 years.
5] Obtain a college degree in this major and have been engaged in chemical engineering design for 6 years; Or after obtaining a college degree in a similar major, he has been engaged in chemical engineering design for 7 years.
[6] Obtained a bachelor's degree or above in other engineering majors, and engaged in chemical engineering design for 8 years.

⑵ Similar majors: ① Process equipment and control engineering; ② Environmental engineering; ③ Safety engineering.
⑶ Other majors: engineering majors other than this major and similar majors.
Work experience: familiar with the operation principle of fine chemical equipment, and have relevant work experience in installation, acceptance, repair and maintenance of chemical equipment engineering. Familiar with various specifications, standards and production processes in chemical industry. Familiar with the production and operation management of various chemical equipment. Can independently configure the corresponding system production equipment according to the product process, and can select and design special chemical equipment according to the functional requirements. Familiar with AutoCAD drawing.
Chemical equipment engineer refers to the technical personnel who are engaged in the transformation operation of industrial chemicals and the design, manufacture, construction, operation, maintenance and repair of chemical equipment.
Work content:
Planning, design, survey and procurement, installation and commissioning, operation, maintenance, transformation, renewal and scrapping of chemical equipment;
Maintain, operate and overhaul all kinds of chemical equipment to ensure the normal operation of workshop production;
Participate in the bidding and procurement consultation of chemical equipment;
Manage and evaluate chemical equipment assets;
Technical appraisal of chemical equipment;
Prepare preventive maintenance plan and maintenance plan for chemical equipment;
Popularize the application of new technology in chemical equipment.
