Longhua Martyrs' Mausoleum covers an area of 285 acres, with eight functional areas such as Memorial Viewing Area, Martyrs' Cemetery Area (where more than 1,100 martyrs are buried), Ruins Area, and Monument Forest Area. The Martyrs' Memorial Hall houses the ashes of more than 500 martyrs. There are ten groups of large outdoor sculptures such as Unknown Martyrs (Changming Fire) built in the garden.
Longhua Martyrs Memorial Hall has a floor area of about 10,000 square meters and an exhibition hall of 5,000 square meters, which is decorated with the theme exhibition of "Danshin Bibi for the People", displaying and exhibiting the heroic deeds of 235 revolutionary martyrs and pioneers who have sacrificed their lives for the independence, freedom, liberation, and the revolutionary cause of China in the Shanghai area since 1840. There are also multi-functional halls and temporary exhibition halls.
Shanghai Longhua Martyrs' Mausoleum is open to minors for free, and provides a complete set of free services for young people to hold the 18-year-old adult ceremony and the ceremony of joining the league (team).
North China Martyrs' Mausoleum
The North China Military Region Martyrs' Mausoleum is located in Shijiazhuang, which was built on August 1, 1954 to commemorate the martyrs of the revolution who died during the war. Covering an area of 210,000 square meters, the garden gate is made of granite and bluestone, the door wall is inlaid with "the Chinese People's Liberation Army Martyrs' Mausoleum of the North China Military Region," fifteen gold characters. About 100 meters from the gate has a fountain, around the square there are three groups of bronze statues. The west side of the pool there is a great internationalist warrior Bai Qiu'en doctor's tomb, in front of the tomb stood Bai Qiu'en full-body statue. On the east side of the pool, there is the mausoleum and statue of Dr. Ke Dihua, the doctor of the International Red Cross Medical Assistance Team for China and the first director of Baikou'en International Peace Hospital of Jinchaji Border Region, as well as the monument of Dr. Edward, the captain of the International Red Cross Medical Assistance Team for China and the doctor of India. North of the square is the center of the park building Hall. Behind the Hall is the Martyrs' Mausoleum, in the center of which are the monumental pavilions commemorating Zhao Bosheng and Dong Zhentang, the leaders of the Ningdu Uprising in Jiangxi Province. Martyrs' Mausoleum is divided into east and west two cemeteries, where more than 700 martyrs are buried. The mausoleum also has a memorial pavilion, exhibition hall and martyrs memorial hall, collecting more than 13,000 pieces of revolutionary cultural relics.
