I am a grass-roots medical worker, and our job is to provide medical care and health services for the people in the county and urban areas. Once, what was the sense of value of such a job? Without superb medical technology and sophisticated medical equipment, it is impossible to rescue critically ill patients and diagnose incurable diseases. Chronic disease follow-up, medication guidance, health education, epidemic prevention and health care, grassroots health units are doing. This kind of work can't stir up a wave in an ordinary way, and it is monotonous without a trace of color.
I am ashamed to ask my work unit, because in my heart, only working in a top-three hospital with excellent medical technology can reflect my social value and have the doctor's demeanor of saving lives. But this COVID-19 epidemic has given me a new understanding of my work.
From the beginning of epidemic prevention and control, at the request of the county, all the public health buildings and Chinese medicine halls of our unit were evacuated to the protective ward. The unit immediately recruits all staff to take up their posts, cancels annual leave and stands by at any time.
With the severity of the epidemic, all the work was carried out rapidly. Temperature measurement at the highway intersection, pre-diagnosis and triage of patients with fever, duty in the protective ward, epidemic prevention and disinfection, including daily follow-up by staff and all township doctors to family members with contact history in Wuhan, isolation and disinfection, epidemic situation report, and later cooperation with disease control and epidemic prevention personnel to take swabs from isolated personnel. Only when you do every job yourself will you know how difficult it is.
It takes six hours to take your temperature at the intersection of the expressway. Every vehicle coming down from the expressway should take its temperature, and the fever will be reported directly to the leader and sent to the designated hospital. You can persist in the daytime, and the cold wind in winter night will make you feel that every wind is so penetrating. No matter how thick you wear, it will erode your body everywhere. Pre-examination and triage of fever requires temperature measurement and registration of each patient, and local isolation of fever patients returning from epidemic areas. The protection ward should provide all-round services for every suspected patient, not only responsible for transportation, disease monitoring and symptomatic treatment, but also taking care of daily diet and daily life. Epidemic prevention and disinfection should be responsible for the ground disinfection of the air in the whole hospital, including the protective ward. Daily follow-up, disinfection, isolation and monitoring of isolated family members from outside need to mobilize the strength of all rural doctors and refine them to every village in the city.
In the case of shortage of medical security resources, hospital leaders try their best to protect us, but they are far from meeting the standards of clinical frontline. Every fever patient we come into contact with may be a virus carrier, and every foreigner may be asymptomatic. Our work is very complicated, and we don't have much time, but every colleague who receives the task has no hesitation or fear. Under the epidemic, if he doesn't advance, he will retreat, stand up and take responsibility!
Falling red is not heartless, but turning into spring mud is more protective!
In order to enter the protection ward, the mother who is still breastfeeding is cruel to wean the baby. The mother of two children lost her crying treasure in the middle of the night in order to get to work on time. A colleague, in order to stick to his post, caused allergic asthma. As soon as his condition eased, he immediately reported back to his post. In order to complete the task, how many of our colleagues bite the bullet regardless of illness! We are daughters and mothers, fathers and sons, wives and husbands, but we have no time to take care of our family. At present, we only have one identity, the health guardian of the residents in our jurisdiction! We have only one belief at the moment, unite as one, hand in hand, do our best and work together to fight the epidemic!
A colleague who usually doesn't like to talk said in the work group, "I suddenly think we are great!" " "
Yes, I have never felt so good about us as I do now! I am proud to be a grassroots medical worker! I am moved and cheered for our every action! Although our work is very ordinary and subtle, it is not as good as clinical frontline workers to save lives and prolong life. However, it is the monitoring and screening of epidemic situation at the grass-roots level, timely isolation and triage, which makes more people in a safe environment and brings happiness and well-being to thousands of families in Qian Qian!
The first tree in my family, Xiyan Lake, is full of flowers and light ink marks.
Don't boast about the good color, just let the air be full of dried Kun.
Just like the ink plum described by the poet Wang Mian, we are just like the plum blossom with a little ink mark, without bright colors, and we don't need gorgeous praise and good name. In order to protect people's health and safety, we are unknown, and we don't ask for anything in return, but for the faint fragrance that permeates the world!
Even if it is snowing, I will accompany the plum blossom to announce that spring has arrived!
