What are ap devices and apg devices? What are ap equipment and apg equipment in medical devices?

Electrical equipment can be divided according to the degree of safety when used in the presence of a mixture of flammable anesthetic gases and air, or with a mixture of oxygen or nitrous oxide: that is, three types of equipment: class AP equipment, APG equipment, equipment that can not be used in the presence of flammable anesthetic agents.

(1) Class AP equipment means that under normal use and normal conditions, the equipment, equipment parts or components must not ignite flammable anesthetic gas mixed with air.

(2) Class APG equipment means equipment, equipment parts or components that, in normal use or in a single fault condition, must not ignite flammable anesthetic gases mixed with oxygen or nitrous oxide.
