Fenglin County is one of the counties established during the 2019 administrative division adjustment in Yichun City, and the newly established People's Government of Fenglin County is located in the former district site of Xinqing District.
Fenglin County is located in the northeastern part of Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province, and was formed by the merger of the former Xinqing District, Hongxing District and Wuying District.
