Heat Shrink Tubing

Heat Shrink Tubing Usage:

First of all, prepare the materials you need to use a lighter, a pair of scissors, a heat shrink tubing. Then, you need to prepare the heat shrink tubing sleeve on the power cord. Next, after the heat shrink tubing is set, use a lighter to heat the heat shrink tubing, or use a high rate heat gun to evenly heat the tubing. Finally, after the heat shrink tubing is completely shrunk, it's done.

Heat shrink tubing and heating equipment should not be too close, we must pay attention to the distance between the fire and the heat shrink tubing, i.e., 4-5cm uniform movement, in the heating contraction, do not exceed the upper limit of the heat shrink tubing temperature, for the heat shrink tubing, the temperature exceeds the upper limit of the temperature, it will make our products "melt" phenomenon, will return to the initial state. The temperature of the heat shrink tubing will be higher than the upper limit of the heat shrink tubing.

Heat shrink tubing has a high temperature shrinkage, soft flame retardant, insulation and corrosion advantages, is widely used in a variety of wire harnesses, solder joints, inductors, insulation protection and metal tubes, rods, rust and corrosion prevention. Common heat shrinkable tubes are: PVC heat shrinkable tubing, PET heat shrinkable tubing and heat shrinkable tubing with adhesive.

Polymer materials with the temperature from low to high to experience the glass state to high elasticity state, glass state performance close to plastic, high elasticity state performance close to rubber. The material used in heat shrink tubing is glassy at room temperature and becomes highly elastic when heated.
