(2) Take the pressurized cylinder out of the box, put it in a suitable safe place, and connect the power cord, cable and ground wire respectively. The protective ground wire, the working ground wire and the ground wire of the discharge rod are connected to the ground wire of the object to be measured respectively (i.e., single-point grounding). It is prohibited to connect the ground wires in series. For this purpose, a ground wire should be used.
Precautions for DC high-voltage generators:
1. In order to ensure personal safety, users are repeatedly reminded to pay attention to the control box and the doubling cylinder well grounded as well as the discharge of the test object and the doubling cylinder after shutdown.
2. Prevent foreign objects from entering the control box. If there is a fan in the control box, check that the fan is working properly.
3. When the holding cylinder of the pressure doubling cylinder is dirty, clean it with a dry cloth. Do not use alcohol, gasoline and other organic solvents for cleaning. Clean the surface of the insulating cylinder with detergent, dry it and use it. Place in a box when transporting or not in use.
4. When replacing the fuse, replace the fuse according to the amperage indicated next to the fuse holder.
5. Do not open the control box and pressurized cylinder without authorization as this will affect the product warranty and the manufacturer will not be responsible for disassembly.
6. The instrument should be protected from rain, collision and falling during transportation.
