Rural elementary school and general secondary schools have health rooms, with full-time health technicians at a ratio of 600 to 1 per student. Secondary specialized schools, technical schools, agricultural secondary schools, vocational secondary schools, according to the needs of full-time health technicians. Schools with less than six hundred students may have full-time or part-time health teachers to carry out school health work.
The National Trial Basic Standards for Physical Education and Health Conditions in Schools (Teaching Physical Education and Arts [2008] No. 5, issued by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Finance on June 9, 2008) stipulates the basic standards for the construction of primary and middle school health care (health care) rooms:
(1) Health care (health care) room setup
1. Health care room refers to the school health organization that has obtained the License for Practicing as a Health Care Provider, and is responsible for school preventive health care, health care, and the provision of medical care. The health center is a school health institution that has obtained a license to practice as a medical institution, and is responsible for preventive health care, health education, prevention and control of common and infectious diseases, daily inspection of school hygiene, and the provision of necessary medical services for teachers and students.
2. Health care rooms are school health institutions that have not obtained the License to Practice as a Medical Institution, and carry out school preventive health care, health education, prevention and control of common and infectious diseases, and daily school health inspections under the guidance of health professionals.
3. Boarding schools are required to set up health rooms, and non-boarding schools may set up health rooms or health care rooms depending on the size of the school.
(B) health (health) room staffing requirements
1. Boarding schools or non-boarding schools with more than 600 students should be equipped with health professionals and technicians. Health professionals and technicians should have a health professional license.
2. Non-boarding schools with less than 600 students shall have a health teacher or a health professional. The health care teacher shall be a teacher who is currently qualified as a teacher.
3. Health professionals and technicians and health teachers shall be trained in professional knowledge of school health and first aid skills, and obtain the appropriate certificate of qualification.

2. Health room.
(1) health room floor area should be greater than 15 square meters, and have a functional partition adapted to the needs of school health work.
(2) health room should have the following basic equipment: vision meter light box, lever weight scale, height meter, desk and chair measuring tape, blood pressure meter, stethoscope, thermometer, first aid kit, tongue depressor, observation beds, diagnostic tables, diagnostic stools, tourniquets, dirt buckets and so on.
Basic Standards for Medical Institutions (for trial implementation) (Health and Medical Development (1994) No. 30) stipulates the basic standards for primary and secondary school health care centers:
At least one of the clinic (medical examination room), laboratory, X-ray room, disinfection and supply room.
Second, personnel: primary and secondary school health care staffing of not less than three ten thousandths of the number of students, of which not less than 80% of health professionals, and should be internal, external, pediatric, five senses, statistics and other professionals. Intermediate title or higher health technology professionals not less than 20% of the staff.
Three, housing:
(a) the floor area of the house is not less than 15 square meters per professional;
(b) each room must be independent.
Four, equipment:
