This product is water for medicinal use prepared by distillation, ion exchange, reverse osmosis or other suitable methods. It does not contain any additives.
PropertiesThis product is a colorless clear liquid; odorless, tasteless.
Check the acidity and alkalinity Take 10 ml of this product, add 2 drops of methyl red indicator solution, shall not show red; another 10 ml, add 5 drops of bromo musk oxalate blue indicator solution, shall not show blue.
Chloride, sulfate and calcium salts Take the product, divided into three test tubes, each tube 50 ml. The first tube with 5 drops of nitric acid and silver nitrate test solution 1 ml, the second tube with barium chloride test solution 2 ml, the third tube with ammonium oxalate test solution 2 ml, shall not occur turbidity.
Nitrate Take 5ml of this product in a test tube, cooled in an ice bath, add 10% potassium chloride solution 0.4ml and 0.1% diphenylamine sulfuric acid solution 0.1ml, shaking, slowly add sulfuric acid 5ml drops, shaking, the test tube at 50 ℃ in a water bath for 15 minutes, the blue color of the solution and the standard nitrate solution [take 0.163g of potassium nitrate, dissolve and dilute it to 100ml, shaking, precise amount of nitrate, and the standard nitrate solution [take potassium nitrate 0.163g, dissolve and dilute to 100ml, shaking, precise amount of nitrate. 100 ml, shake well, precision measurement of 1 ml, diluted with water to 100 ml, and then precision measurement of 10 ml,
diluted with water to 100 ml, shaking well, that is (every 1 ml is equivalent to 1 μg of NO3)] 0.3 ml, plus 4.7 ml of water without nitrate, with the same method of treatment after the comparison of the color, shall not be darker (0.000006%).
Nitrite Take 10 ml of this product, placed in a nano tube, add p-aminobenzenesulfonamide dilute hydrochloric acid solution (1→100) 1 ml and naphthalene ethylenediamine hydrochloride solution (0.1→100) 1 ml, the resulting pink color, with the standard nitrite solution [take 0.750 g of sodium nitrite (according to the dry product), dissolved in water, diluted to 100 ml, shaking well, precise amount of 1ml, dilute with water to 100ml, shake well, and then precision measurement of 1ml, dilute with water to 50ml, shake well, that is (each 1ml is equivalent to 1μgNO2)) 0.2ml, add 9.8ml of water without nitrite, with the same method of treatment of color comparisons, shall not be darker (0.000002%).
Ammonia Take 50 ml of the product, add 2 ml of alkaline potassium mercuric iodide test solution, and leave it for 15 minutes; if the color develops, compare the color with the control solution made of ammonium chloride solution (take 31.5 mg of ammonium chloride, add the right amount of ammonia-free water to make it dissolve and dilute it to 1000 ml) 1.5 ml, add 48 ml of ammonia-free water and 2 ml of alkaline potassium mercuric iodide test solution, and it shall not be darker (0.00003%).
Carbon dioxide Take 25ml of this product, placed in a 50ml stoppered cylinder, add 25ml of calcium hydroxide test solution, tightly stoppered vibration, placed, no turbidity within 1 hour.
Easy to oxidize Take 100ml of this product, add 10ml of dilute sulfuric acid, boil, add potassium permanganate titrant (0.02mol/L) 0.10ml, and then boil for 10 minutes, the pink color shall not disappear completely.
Nonvolatiles Take 100ml of this product, put it in an evaporating dish of constant weight at 105℃, evaporate it on a water bath and dry it to constant weight at 105℃, the residue left behind shall not be more than 1mg.
Heavy metals Take 40ml of this product, add acetate buffer (pH3.5) 2ml with 2ml of thioacetamide test solution, shake it well and let it stand for 2minutes, add water 38ml with 2.0ml of standard lead solution and treat it in the same way. Add water 38ml with the same method of treatment after the color comparison, not darker (0.00005%).
