Is the x-fluorescence tester harmful to the body, long-term operation

The X-ray fluorescence tester generally uses a low-power X-ray generator tube or isotope radiation source. The intensity of the rays is generally small, so as long as the standardized operation, it is not very harmful to the body.

The attenuation of rays in air is proportional to the square of the distance, so eyes (or other vital organs) should not be exposed to X-ray irradiation for long periods of time and in close proximity. When changing samples, just extend your arm a little. Try not to direct the probe right at the person anymore.

If you know how to do it properly, the amount of radiation exposure is not much bigger than that of a person's normal living environment. Much smaller than a medical X-ray, much smaller than the irradiation of cosmic rays on an airplane.
