(In some cases, it's spelled out.) A city with a network is like a neighborhood in which every household has access to a vast array of electronic information services. When the network is connected in a visible way, this city connected by fiber optics can transmit information more accurately. Such a community has already been established in the Hi-OVIS pilot project in Japan. This project can also be seen as a closely connected fiber optic system. The system consists of a center, a sub-center, and end devices in the home connected by cables. These cables connect computers and video equipment. Each home has a television set, camera, headphones and keyboard. Thus the mutual transmission of information between the two parties was accessible. The terminal equipment was connected in 158 households. The subscription service includes the reception of TV programs directly on the computer, a service that provides a higher quality picture and sound compared to traditional antenna TV and broadcasts programs that are very localized to the area. For example, programs about the local police department, fire brigade and local shopping information are shown. Subscribers can see this programming by subscribing to a specific piece of footage that is already stored in a storage center; they can see study sessions at home; and they can see still pictures that tell you about local events, medical equipment, train schedules, and things you like.
