Three A review refers to the accreditation system of four-year review for a comprehensive evaluation and assessment of the overall level and comprehensive strength of the three A hospitals. Hospital accreditation includes cyclical accreditation and unscheduled key inspections. Cyclic accreditation refers to the comprehensive accreditation of hospitals by the health administrative department at the end of the accreditation period. Unscheduled key inspection refers to the health administrative department in the accreditation cycle of the hospital at the appropriate time to carry out inspections and random checks.
Hospital accreditation is an internationally prevalent system of quality assessment of hospitals, commonly known internationally as healthcare organization accreditation, the implication is that a professional authority outside the healthcare organization to assess the organization, in order to judge the degree of conformity of the organization to meet the quality management system standards.
The development of hospital accreditation is very necessary, because public **** health and hygiene issues are national issues. Regulations on the Administration of Medical Institutions
Article 16 An application for registration of a medical institution to practice medicine shall be subject to the following conditions:
(1) having an approval letter for the establishment of a medical institution;
(2) conforming to the basic standards for medical institutions;
(3) It has a suitable name, organization and premises;
(4) It has funds, facilities, equipment and professional health technicians appropriate to the business it carries out;
(5) It has corresponding rules and regulations;
(6) It is capable of independently assuming civil responsibility. Article 40 The health administrative departments of the people's governments at or above the county level shall exercise the following supervisory and management powers:
(1) To be responsible for the approval of the setting up of medical institutions and the registration and verification of their practice;
(2) To carry out inspections and guidance for the practice of medical institutions;
(3) To be responsible for organizing the accreditation of medical institutions;
(4) To impose penalties for violations of these Regulations. (d) Imposing penalties for violations of these Regulations. Article 41 The State implements an accreditation system for medical institutions, whereby an accreditation committee composed of experts shall, in accordance with the methods and standards for accreditation of medical institutions, conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the practice and quality of medical services of medical institutions.
Methods and standards for accreditation of medical institutions shall be formulated by the health administrative department of the State Council.
