How to find a reliable hot spring place
Before recommending hot spring resorts and hotels, we actually need to talk more about the hot spring itself.
Hot springs are mineral water that naturally gushes out of the ground or is artificially collected, with a water temperature of 25, and do not contain minerals (including macronutrients and trace elements) that are harmful to human health.
Many friends have a question: what is a good hot spring (real hot spring)? After all, no one wants to chase all the way to the past just to have a good time and take a hot bath.
I have read many tips. Some say that to find natural hot springs, you have to smell them with your nose. Many high-quality hot springs have a "smell," such as hydrogen sulfide springs (also called sulfur springs), which have a distinct "rotten egg" odor.
But this rotten egg smell can also be adjusted with chemicals (sulfur powder mixed with tap water and mineral "additives").
Some say it's a perfect spa. Your skin won't be wrinkled after a soak, it will be smooth.
Some of these claims may be true, but they are always too subjective. Then I found a great way to save energy by looking up the winners of the Golden Soup Awards from previous years.
For every industry, there are some professional awards. The Golden Soup Award is the only authoritative award in China's hot spring industry. It is held every two years and is supported by the World Federation of Hot Springs and Climate Health and the Hot Spring Tourism Branch of the China Tourism Association*** together.
About a good hot spring resort, the chairman of the Golden Soup Award put forward these criteria:
1) no less than 200 days in a year between the ambient air quality index AQI0-100;
2) good natural resources and human resources;
3) lots of hot springs covering the high school, middle school and low consumption groups, each with its own characteristics;
3) many hot springs, covering high, medium and low consumption groups, each with its own characteristics;
4) well-established hot springs tour routes and service providers;
5) hot springs with water that meets the naming standards of thermal mineral water for medical use or has obvious health care value can be recognized as "hot springs/high-quality hot springs/high-quality and rare hot springs".
So, at the beginning of the evaluation are "real hot springs", and the supporting facilities will be more complete.
In addition to this, there are a number of certification bodies for hot springs around the world, which can be distinguished by their certification marks.

Three pools should be enough bubbles, there's no need to squeeze in the scenery.
If I were to take my family, I would pick this one.
Nanjing Ziqing Lake Hot Spring Resort Hotel
Address: 8 North Huanzhen Road, Tangshan Resort, Nanjing. Room rates are 600-2000.
There are four major hot spring centers within the Tangshan Hot Spring Resort, namely Tangshan No.1/Ziqing Lake Forest Hot Spring/Tangshan Sacred Spring/Nanjing Shangyi Hot Spring.
If you want to be more convenient and stay directly in the hot spring center, I suggest you to stay in Ziqing Lake Hot Spring Resort, which is one of the top ten hot springs that won the Golden Tang Award.
The other three rooms are newer and there are not as many family-friendly facilities in the park.
There are 30 hot spring pools at the Clear Lake Hot Spring Resort. The hot springs are from Tangshan Springs and the quality is quite good. It is less crowded and cleaner than Tangshan One.
Among the various pools, there is a special one called "Bath with Crocodiles***", which means you can see crocodiles while soaking in the hot spring.
The Ziqing Lake Hot Spring Resort in the park only opened in 2016. The comfort level is good, plus the park is more plentiful and there's a zoo, so it's especially worth staying there if you have kids.
In addition to these two hotels, Tangshan has a very strong king-fry design hotel: the Utopia Natural History Museum.
I haven't stayed there yet. It started its trial run in October. It's really good looking. I sifted through all the social media platforms at the time too. The rooms cost almost ￡2,000 so I had to book at Guan Wei.
My advice is to wait and see because during the trial period, the service may not be able to keep up and will reveal some problems. You can brush up more on Xiaohongshu or Mass Dianping.
2)Ninghai Forest Hot Spring Resort, Zhejiang Province

4)Tianmu Lake Yushui Hot Springs

The hot spring comes from Yangya Chengtian Radon Spring in Taishun, with a water temperature of 62, which has high medical value.
