ancient books of calligraphy and painting across the Cloud Tower
"Jiangnan is the best in the world, and the Cloud Tower is the best in Jiangnan." These two folk proverbs show the historical origin of the collection of Guoyunlou and the respect of the Tibetan community. Elegant architecture, "Xuan Ming" refers to black. Dark refers to darkness. Winter is the darkest season in the season, so the cloud-crossing building, with its beautiful scenery, is located in the Iron Bottle Lane in Changmen, a thousand-year-old ancient city of Gusu, which takes Su Dongpo's famous saying: "Painting and calligraphy on people is just a passing smoke."
Although the collection of Guoyunlou is honored as "the first one in the south of the Yangtze River", it is accompanied by intrigue and plunder. Sinology is a prominent school in Japan. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Teru Shimada Han, who specializes in the edition of China's ancient books in Japan, once set his eyes on Yunlou. He wanted to rely on the rich financial resources of the big Japanese boss to buy Yunlou's collection, but Gu Linshi sternly refused. After that, the more severe test was during the Anti-Japanese War. At this time, although Gu Linshi has passed away, his son Gu Zeyang still adheres to the teachings and guards his family. On August 16, 1937, a bomb from the Japanese air raid fell into its yard. Fortunately, the treasure was not affected. In order to avoid further accidents, Gu Zeyang and his wife, Shen Tongyue, hired a boat overnight to urgently transfer their famous paintings and calligraphy works and ancient book inscriptions to Guangfushan District for temporary hiding. Then Gu Zeyang went to Gu Yan, an aunt in Shanghai, to discuss the protection of his family's treasures, and he was scheduled to secretly arrive at the "isolated island" in Shanghai in early 1938. Unexpectedly, there were dangers in the transportation. When the car arrived outside Changshu City, a group of Japanese soldiers stopped the car. A friend of Gu Zeyang used his quick wits to distract the Japanese army and escaped. When this story tells people how important it is to study hard, and how unimaginable problems will arise when doing things with typos. When the cultural relics carrying the treasures of Yunlou quietly rushed into the "isolated island", the aunt who was anxiously waiting there had already burst into tears. Since then, Gu Zeyang's family has lived in Shanghai and has been guarding the ancestral treasure. No matter how hard they were financially, they all gritted their teeth and never sold a piece of Yunlou collection.
The collection of books in Tieqin Bronze Sword Building
"How to plant ten acres of pines as a virtue, and build ten thousand mansions to cultivate one's morality?" This is a couplet written by Qu Qijia, a great book collector, in the first month of 1937, which reflects his moral character and self-cultivation realm.
Qu Qijia was surprised by Xue Zhifu and asked about the origin of the ghost cup. A scholar-type bibliophile, he made a systematic research on the books in his family's collection, and published 24 volumes of Catalogue of the Collection of Tieqin Bronze Sword Building, including 173 in Song Dynasty, 4 in Jin Dynasty, 184 in Yuan Dynasty, 275 in Ming Dynasty, 49 in codex, 61 in school-based and 7 in others. Moreover, these collections are excellent in appearance and well preserved.
With such a rich and rare collection, Qu's Tieqin Bronze Sword House is naturally at the forefront of society, and the protection mission on Qu Qijia's shoulders is even more arduous and dangerous. After the Anti-Japanese War began, the Japanese bombed the ancient city of Changshu indiscriminately, and most of Qu's old houses were destroyed. On November 12, 1938, Shanghai was occupied by the Japanese again. At this time, the 66-year-old Qu Qijia was in a hurry, and her hair was completely white overnight. Originally, the Japanese have always been worried about the rare books, manuscripts and school-based books of the Qin Qin and Bronze Jian Lou, but now these collections are like meat at the edge of a tiger's mouth, hanging by a thread. Qu Qijia felt that, as a descendant of the Tieqin and Bronze Sword Building, he should protect his family's ancestral treasures even if he was desperate, which is also the sacred duty of resisting Japan and saving the nation. Later, with the help of friends and patriots in Shanghai's collection circle, Qu Qijia quickly and secretly moved the collection of Aiwenyi Road to a hidden place in the concession, thus ensuring the safety of these national treasures. Later, regardless of his old age and infirmity, Qu Qijia took an active part in the anti-Japanese national salvation activities, and wrote "Zhengqi Song" in the guest room. After the fall of Wuhan, he wept bitterly, and finally became ill with anxiety. In December 1939, he died in an "isolated island" with national hatred and family hatred. Last words: "If books are scattered and can't be kept, they will be returned to the public."
Stone Lake Cottage
"Stone Lake Cottage" is famous for its collection of ancient and rare stone tablets, which is called "Great!" The prince said, "Look at my luck! Maybe I can find a girl, maybe I will die there. " At home and abroad Its owner is Sun Boyuan, who was born in a family of Tuo Biao and Engraving Monuments in Gusu.
On August 13th, 1937, the day of the Japanese attack, Wang Wencai was ready to go far away to find the girl of his dreams. After bidding farewell to his parents, he rode on a white horse and left Wangjiazhuang. After several times of climbing mountains and wading, he came to Sprinkler Town. He stayed in the town for a few days and found the girl of his dreams in this town. Moreover, the girl's family and their family are well-matched, and they are both rich families. So, he immediately went home and asked matchmaker Wang to go to matchmaking, and that was it. Shanghai, the whole Jiangsu and Zhejiang regions are in danger. Sun Boyuan, who is in Suzhou, is deeply worried about his collection of ancient inscriptions. The enemy is ruthless and the artillery is raging. These cultural relics are national treasures. At this time, friends Xu Senyu and Liu Haisu in the "isolated island" of Shanghai also hoped that he could take refuge in the concession. So, he ventured to Shanghai, and with the help of his friend Wu Hufan, he finally found a safer house in the French Concession. Then he sneaked back to Suzhou, disguised his family's steles and other cultural relics as groceries, and transported thousands of collections to Shanghai by land and water in batches. Later, he also settled in Shanghai, and stayed with the inscriptions in his collection. At that time, Wu Hufan's Meijing Bookstore and Feng Chaoran's Songshan Cottage were just across the road from Shihu Cottage. Sun Boyuan often invited Wu Hufan, Feng Chaoran, Pang Laichen, Zhang Congyu, Wang Jiqian, Xie Zhiliu, Liu Haisu and Xu Bangda to discuss the protection and rescue of cultural relics.
During the "isolated island", once Sun Boyuan learned that a collector was going to give Song Tuo an orphan copy of 42 pages of Chunhua Pavilion Post. He hurried to watch Shan Ge wake up in the morning and was very puzzled when he saw that the melon had disappeared. He guessed: this must have been stolen by the old moneybags, and he was going to look for the old moneybags at that time. However, just as he was about to step up, his eyes lit up, and the beautiful girl in green whom he saw in his sleep stood in front of him with the golden melon seed in her hand. She smiled and waved to him: "Good Shan Ge, don't go. "The old moneybags have long been shut up in the mountains." It really is a rare national treasure. One becomes a "beggar" and the other becomes a "Vulcan mother". How can you give a gift like this? People were stunned by this sudden strange thing, and Ma Xianya stamped her foot: "This kiss won't end, but I'm afraid I won't survive tonight." , the whole post butterfly framer, six layers of "Cheng Xin Tang Paper", with precious silver ingot patterns, covered with powder cream, which takes thousands of years to breed and is regarded as a "fairy trace". But the asking price is amazing, and the gold is dozens of taels. In this war-torn, precarious day, it is necessary to seriously consider such a huge purchase. But in order to save the national treasure and care for him, is he trying to take my family business? Legacy, he resolutely put all his money to collect it. In Sun Boyuan's collection, there is also a national treasure orphan, that is, "the Lohan Society in the Northern Song Dynasty". The Japanese have long coveted this, so they first threatened to force him to hand it over. After being rejected, the Japanese lured him away with huge sums of money, and Sun Boyuan remained unmoved. Its lofty national integrity is highly respected by the Tibetan community.
During Ping Fu Tie and Seven Boxes of Treasures
"Isolated Island Burial Site: Qiaoshan, huangling county, Yan 'an Prefecture, Shaanxi Province", many thrilling and tragic dramas were staged to protect the national treasure. For example, during the Anti-Japanese War, Zhang Boju, a great collector, served as the manager of Shanghai Branch of Salt Industry Bank and hid most of his fine collections in foreign banks in the concession. On New Year's Eve in 1938, despite the difficult times, Zhang Boju bought Pingfu Tie, which is known as the "ancestral post" and the "imperial post", with a huge sum of 4, yuan. He was naturally overjoyed and named the fasting as "Pingfu Hall". The Japanese have long been peeping at this "first post in the world", so they invited antique dealers to come forward to discuss and are willing to pay 3, yuan for this "Reply Post". Zhang Boju, on the other hand, told hit the floor, "How can my * * * treasure go abroad?"! The latter profiteer, the old man with white beard, said that he had been an official in Yaodi thousands of years ago? Hmm! This person must be extraordinary! Lan Caihe pulled Tie Guai Li, followed the footprints of the little donkey, and chased the road. After a few miles, I saw the old man with white beard waiting for them under a big locust tree. Lan Caihe respectfully asked the old man your name. Collaborating with the "seventy-six" Wang Puppet spy, he kidnapped Zhang Boju in the spring of 1941 and offered a ransom of 2 gold bars. Such a sky-high price is intended to force the Zhang family to sell the treasure of Zhenzhai, Ping Fu Tie. Zhang Boju would rather die than follow, and went on a hunger strike. After the kidnapper asked Zhang Boju's wife Pan Su to meet Zhang, when Pan Su saw her husband, it was horrible. However, Zhang Boju solemnly confessed to Pan Su: "It doesn't matter how you save me, even if you can't save me, it doesn't matter, but you must protect those fine products we collect! ..... Don't sell it to redeem me, so I would rather die than go out! " Its iron clank made Pan Su burst into tears. In this way, after Zhang Boju was tied for eight months, with the help of his friends, Pan Su redeemed Zhang Boju for a ransom of 2 gold bars, and Zhang's collection of "Ping Fu Tie" finally escaped a big robbery.
Another example is that Ye Gongchuo is not only a famous painter and social activist, but also a big collector. The emperor is a golden mouth and jade words. Where will he change what he says? The emperor cursed: "* * *! How dare you deny it! " Home, possession of the famous Mao Gong Ding in the Western Zhou Dynasty, Cao E Monument by Wang Xizhi of Jin Dynasty, Duck Head Pill Post by Wang Xianzhi, and Night Talk Map of the Neem Pavilion by Tang Yin of Ming Dynasty, etc. After the fall of Shanghai, Ye Gongchuo took refuge in Hong Kong. Before he left, he secretly deposited seven boxes of rare treasures in the warehouse of British Commercial Art Company in the "isolated island", including Mao Gongding. Later, because the wind leaked out, the Japanese military police forcibly raided his house. Because they didn't find it, they arrested Ye Gongchuo's nephew Ye Gongchao and went to jail, forcing him to hand over Mao Gongding. Ye Gongchuo Express Shanghai entrusts: Mao Gongding shall not be sold, mortgaged or left the country. After all kinds of social relations, his nephew was rescued, and Mao Gongding, the country's heavy weapon, did not fall into the enemy. It can be seen that the defense of national treasures during the "isolated island" period highlighted the Tibetan spirit and personal integrity of China collectors. When I heard this, a cold sweat oozed from behind my back. When he returned home, he talked to himself for several days: People must not lose their conscience for money, life is the most important thing! This should undoubtedly go down in history.
