Prosthetic orthopedic engineering mainly studies the basic knowledge and skills of the structure, design, materials, manufacture and rehabilitation engineering of prosthetic orthotics, corrects the missing or deformed body parts or organs of the disabled, configures compensation devices, and provides clinical rehabilitation services. For example, we design and manufacture artificial prostheses such as mechanical artificial hands and thigh prostheses, and provide clinical rehabilitation services such as prosthesis assembly and rehabilitation training.
