Shanghai No.2 People's Hospital, formerly known as Shanghai Hospital, was founded in 1904 as the first Chinese and Western general hospital in Shanghai founded by the Chinese themselves. Geographic location and floor space: Shanghai Second People's Hospital is located on both sides of Duojia Road under the collapsed bridge of Shanghai's famous Nanpu Bridge, east of the Huangpu River, and west of Zhongshan South Road, covering an area of 21.8 acres. The building complex is mainly for surgery, internal building, outpatient and emergency building, ophthalmology center building, medical technology building, administrative building, etc., with a total construction area of 24,700 square meters.
Two, staffing and structure: 908 staff on staff, including 681 health care personnel. There are 237 clinical physicians, including 147 with bachelor's degree or above, and more than 60 physicians with associate degree or above.
Third, medical services: the hospital is a second-class A-class hospital, but also the Second Military Medical University and Suzhou Medical College teaching hospital. It has 10 first-class clinical specialties including internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and pediatrics, and 15 second-class clinical disciplines. There are 8 medical and technical departments such as CT, radiology, ultrasound, testing, pharmacy and so on.
