Items that require Air China's consent for transportation
Precision instruments, electronic products and precision equipment
Stereos, washing machines, refrigerators, computers, tape recorders, etc. should be checked as checked baggage, and should be packed in factory packaging or packaging that meets Air China's requirements at the time of check-in. The above items are not included in the free checked baggage and should be charged as excess baggage. Air China will be responsible for such items in accordance with its checked baggage policy.
Sports facilities
Firearms and ammunition for sports purposes should be checked as checked baggage and must be accompanied by a transportation certificate issued by the relevant authorities. Such items shall be locked and packed separately and shall be subject to Air China's check-in approval prior to shipment. The limit of ammunition that may be checked in is 5 kg (11 lbs) (gross weight) per passenger. Passengers traveling in groups should pack their ammunition separately. Such items are not included in the free checked baggage and shall be charged as excess baggage. Passengers transporting firearms and ammunition should complete all screening procedures no later than 90 minutes prior to departure.
Animals
Passengers who need to transport small animals (such as pet cats or dogs) should contact Air China. Passengers should provide animal quarantine certificates and valid proof that the small animal is traveling in, out or through China. Small animals are not allowed to be brought into the passenger cabin and should be checked as checked baggage. Small animals and their containers will be charged as excess baggage. Air China shall not be liable if the destination country denies entry to the small animal carried by the passenger, or if the small animal is injured, lost, delayed, sick, or dies during transportation.
Cages for the transportation of small animals shall comply with the following regulations:
Capable of preventing small animals from causing injury to any person, baggage, cargo or aircraft.
Sufficiently large to ensure that the small animal has room to move and ventilation to avoid suffocation.
Two small animals under 14 kg (30 lbs) should be transported in the same cage.
Small animals over 14 kg (30 lbs) should be transported in separate cages.
Three small animals up to six months of age may be shipped in separate cages or **** may be shipped in one cage.

Folding or electronic wheelchairs used by passengers during the journey
Motorized and electronic wheelchairs are checked as checked baggage. Both are free checked baggage and are not counted in the free checked baggage allowance. If a passenger needs to use a wheelchair during the check-in process, the wheelchair will be handed over at the gate when the passenger boards the plane, with Air China's permission.
Power wheelchairs should be checked in with packaging that meets the following requirements:
Wheelchairs with leak-proof batteries - Ensure that the batteries are not short-circuited and that they are securely mounted on the wheelchair.
Wheelchairs with non-leak-proof batteries - the batteries should not be installed in the wheelchair and should be packaged in protective packaging. The packaging should be leakproof and secured to the pallet or cargo hold with straps, mounts or brackets. Ensure that the battery is not short-circuited and that the surrounding area is filled with a suitable absorbent material to absorb any leaking liquid.
The package should be labeled "BATTERY, WET, WHEELCHAIR" ("BATTERY FOR WHEELCHAIR, MOISTURE") or "BATTERY, WET, WITH BATTERY, WET, WITH MOBILITY AID" or "BATTERY, WET, WITH MOBILITY AID". and labeled "CORROSIVE" ("corrosive") and "UPWARD" ("upward"). ") labels.

Sharp and Blunt Weapons
Medical instruments shorter than 6 centimeters (2.4 inches) as well as specialized sharp cutting tools with blades of 6 centimeters (2.4 inches) or more and blunt instruments. This includes tools of production and life, such as kitchen knives, fruit knives, table knives, craft knives, scalpels, scissors, sickles, show tools, swords, javelins, antique or travel souvenirs, iron spikes, axes, short sticks, lead hammers, etc. Such tools shall be transported as checked baggage and shall not be carried in the passenger cabin.
Dry ice, liquid beverages, liquid cosmetics and daily necessities
Can be transported either as checked or carry-on baggage. Dry ice should be refrigerated at low temperatures and the total weight of dry ice should not exceed 2.5 kilograms (5 pounds) per passenger. According to CAAC regulations, each passenger is not allowed to bring more than two bottles (each bottle should not exceed 500 ml) of carbonated beverages, mineral water, tea, milk, yogurt, fruit juice, etc. Passengers may purchase beverages while going through airport security or in compliance with the restrictions. Passengers are not allowed to carry alcoholic beverages other than those purchased at the airport after security check. Each passenger may carry two bottles of alcoholic beverages of less than 1 kilogram, with a total volume of no more than 1,000 milliliters.
Passengers are allowed to carry bottles of collar cleaner, mousse, whitener, insecticide and air freshener up to 350 ml. Perfumes should be carried in a volume of less than 500 milliliters. Passengers are not permitted to carry any similar items with a volume of more than 1,000 milliliters or a weight of more than 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds).
