Paying Visa Fee Online

You are required to pay the visa application fee online with a VISA or Mastercard credit or debit card in Chinese Yuan. After completing the online payment, you will receive a confirmation email from our payment provider, WorldPay.
If you wish to withdraw your visa and receive a refund, please use our refund request form. The visa application fee is non-refundable if bio information has been submitted and/or processing of your application has commenced.
Paying the Health Surcharge online
Non-EEA citizens applying to come to the UK for work, study or family reunion for more than 6 months are required to pay the Health Surcharge. Applicants who pay the surcharge are eligible for the National Health Service (NHS) on the same basis as UK permanent residents.
The medical surcharge is £200 per annum, £150 per annum for students, and accompanying family members usually pay the same as the main applicant.
Visa applicants are required to pay a surcharge in advance to cover the full duration of their UK visa. Please use the Medical Surcharge Calculator to calculate the amount to be paid. 2. Visiting the Visa Application Center
You must visit the Visa Application Center in person on the scheduled date with all your application documents, submit them along with your biometric information and choose how you would like to collect them.
Biometric Information
Unless specifically exempted, you must visit the Visa Application Center in person to submit biometric information (fingerprint scan and facial photograph) for each visa application.
We use a device to take your fingerprints that contains no ink, liquid or chemicals. If you have a broken fingertip or any type of temporary adornment, biometric information cannot be enrolled until the wound has healed or the adornment has faded. If you have a mutilated fingertip, you must enroll the fingerprints of the remaining fingers.
We will take a photograph of your complete face. You must not wear sunglasses or tinted glasses, have hair covering your eyes, or have any facial covering, but you may wear headgear for religious or medical reasons.
Applicants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult when registering their biometric information. That adult may not be a member of our staff.
Applicants under the age of 5 are only required to have their face photographed, not their fingerprints taken, when enrolling their biometric information.
If you are not subject to immigration control, you do not need to submit biometric information, such as diplomats traveling to the UK for an appointment.
Collecting your documents
After your visa application has been processed, you can choose to collect your documents and passport directly from the Visa Application Center or pay an additional fee to collect them by courier.
If you choose to collect your passport in person, VFSGlobal will send you an email notifying you of the time to collect your documents. You will need to bring your receipt with you when you pick them up.
You may have someone else pick up your materials on your behalf. The person collecting your documents will need to present your signed letter of authorization, your receipt and proof of their identity.

Common reasons for visa refusal
1. telephone survey of the purpose of visiting relatives: the answer to the basic no chance of bringing children;
