Introduction of Tibet Military Region General Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) General Hospital of Tibet Military Region, formerly known as the hospital directly under the Chuandong Military Region, was established in Changshou County, Chongqing in November 1949, and renamed as the 49th Army Hospital in 1955, and was ordered to enter Tibet in the same year. it was named as the General Hospital of the Tibet Military Region in 1962, and was moved to the present site. The hospital covers an area of about 410,000 square meters, with a building area of 70,000 square meters; the establishment of 400 beds.
