(1) tower vacuum water dispenser
It consists of a pointed barrel and a chassis with a diameter slightly larger than the barrel. The top and side walls of the drum are airtight, and there are 1 ~ 2 small round holes (diameter 0.5 ~ 1.0 cm) at the base 2.5 cm above the chassis. When in use, first put the bucket top down, put the water in the round hole, then buckle the chassis and turn it over. In this way, first of all, air can enter the bucket through the contact gap and round hole of the bucket disk, and the water in the bucket can flow to the chassis; When the water level in the pot is higher than the round hole, air cannot enter, and a vacuum is formed at the top of the bucket, so that the water level in the chassis is always slightly higher than the upper edge of the round hole until the water in the bucket is used up. This water dispenser is simple in structure, convenient to use and easy to clean and disinfect. It can be made of galvanized iron sheet, plastic and other materials, and can also be made of large-mouth glass bottles (Figure 10-36), which is convenient to obtain and easy to popularize.

(2)V-shaped or U-shaped drinking trough
V-shaped drinking water tanks are mostly made of galvanized iron sheets. In the past, most cage chickens used V-shaped drinking water tanks, but because they were made of metal, the water tanks were corroded and leaked for about 3 years, and they were forced to be replaced. The U-shaped water tank made of plastic solves the corrosion and water leakage of the V-shaped water tank. U-shaped sink is easy to use, easy to clean and long in service life.
1) Long-running water drinking trough
One end of the sink is equipped with a faucet that is always on, and the other end is equipped with an overflow plug and a water outlet pipe to control the level of the liquid (Figure 10-37). When cleaning, just remove the overflow plug.

2) Floating valve type drinking water tank
One end of the sink is connected to the float chamber, which is equipped with a set of floats and valves (Figure 10-38). When the water level in the tank drops, the float drops to open the valve and water flows into the tank; When the water level reaches a certain height, the float rises and closes the valve, and the water stops flowing in.

3) Spring valve type drinking trough
The whole water tank is hung on a spring valve, and the opening and closing of the valve is controlled by the weight of water in the water tank (Figure 10-39).

(3) Hanging tower drinking machine
Hanging in the henhouse does not interfere with the activities of chickens, and is mostly used for raising chickens horizontally. It consists of a drinking water tray and a control mechanism (Figure 10-40). The drinking tray is a tower-shaped plastic tray with a hollow center and an annular groove at the edge for chickens to drink. The upper end of the valve body for controlling water outlet is connected with the main water pipe through a hose, and the other end is hung on the ceiling through a rope. The drinking tray is hung on the control rod of the valve body to control the opening and closing of the water outlet valve. When there is no water in the drinking tray, the weight is reduced, the spring overcomes the weight of the drinking tray, the control rod moves upward, the water outlet valve is opened, and water flows into the annular groove from the lower end of the valve body along the surface of the drinking tray. When the water level reaches a certain height, the weight of the drinking tray increases, the tension of the spring increases, the control lever moves down, the outlet valve closes, and the water stops flowing out.

(4) nipple type drinking machine
It consists of a valve core and a contact rod, and is directly connected with a water pipe (Figure 10-4 1). Because of the capillary tube, a drop of water often hangs on the touch rod. When the chicken needs to drink water, just peck the touch rod and the water will flow out. After the chicken finished drinking the water, the waterway was sealed by the touch rod and the water stopped flowing out. This kind of drinking device is installed above the head of the chicken, so that the chicken can look up and drink water. When installing, the height should change with the size of the chicken, which can be installed in the cage or outside the cage.

(5) Cup drinking machine
Shaped like a cup, connected to a water pipe (Figure 10-42). There is a touch panel in the cup, and there will always be some water left on the touch panel. When the chicken pecks the touch plate, the valve opens through the linkage rod and water flows into the cup. After the chicken drinks water, the contact plate is restored to its original position by the buoyancy of the water, and the water no longer flows out.
