I, Wujin campus
Wujin campus is located in Changzhou City, Changzhou Wujin District, east of Changzhou National High-tech Zone, south of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, west of the old campus. The school covers an area of more than 1,000 mu, with a building area of more than 500,000 square meters. There are more than 20,000 full-time undergraduates, more than 5,000 master's and doctoral students, and more than 1,100 teaching staff. The university has 14 secondary colleges (departments) and 2 public **** teaching departments (including University English Teaching Department). There are 65 undergraduate majors, with "Mechanical Design and Manufacturing and Automation", "Ship and Ocean Engineering" 2 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites, of which "Ship and Ocean Engineering" is a national first-class major. Ship and Ocean Engineering" is one of the first-class undergraduate professional construction points at the national level.
Second, West Taihu Lake Campus
West Taihu Lake Campus is located in Changzhou City Wujin Economic Development Zone, adjacent to the second largest lake in southern Jiangsu Province Ge Hu. As an important node of wujin science and technology corridor, west taihu campus adhering to the "humanistic, green, intelligent, harmonious, efficient" development concept and the surrounding industry-city combination, government-school-enterprise linkage, west taihu lake culture and tourism industry park (film and television culture industry, art and culture industry, eco-tourism industry, medical tourism industry), west taihu lake e-commerce industry park, west taihu lake international healthcare industry park. Industrial Park, West Taihu Lake International Medical Industrial Park, Changzhou Graphene Science and Technology Industrial Park, China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park, and Macao City, making it an ideal reading place for humanistic and ecological dialogues.
The total area is 1026 mu, with Fengze Road in the east, Yanzheng West Avenue in the south, Mengjin River in the west, and Jinhua Road in the north. It is 15 kilometers away from Kejiao City Campus. West Taihu campus will be linked with the school's philosophy, development goals, historical style and professional characteristics, the building includes a graphic information center, Lide building, Liyin building, Lixing building, Ligong building, the first dining hall, the second dining hall, Ge Hu gymnasium, Lixing building, sports field and Boya residence group of eleven buildings, with a total floor area of about 260,000 square meters. The student apartment area has a commercial street, convenient for teachers and students daily consumption needs.
As a new campus, the campus has a beautiful environment, with nearly 100 kinds of greenery planted on the campus, and a number of net red attractions such as Violet Forest, Palm Forest, Powder Forest, Plum Garden, Peach Garden, etc., so that there are flowers in all seasons and scenic spots in all seasons. Third, Baiyun Campus
Baiyun Campus, the main campus of Changzhou University, is located in Baiyun New Town of Changzhou City, adjacent to the new campus of Changzhou University, covering an area of 500 acres. The Baiyun Campus has a planned construction area of 353 mu and a total building area of 497,000 square meters.
Baiyun Campus is the main campus of Changzhou University, which actively carries out postgraduate and international student education on the premise of meeting the needs of undergraduate teaching. There are currently 1,930 full-time undergraduate students on the campus, including 1,910 undergraduates and 55 graduate students. There are also more than 2,000 adult education students.
There are 13 undergraduate majors on Baiyun Campus, covering six disciplines: engineering, science, literature, management, economics, law and medicine. There are 23 undergraduate majors, including 3 national featured majors; 8 provincial featured majors; 6 provincial first-class undergraduate major construction sites; 2 provincial comprehensive reform pilot majors; 1 pilot major of the Provincial Excellence in Engineer Education and Training Program; 1 pilot major of the Provincial Excellence in Doctor Education and Training Program; and 2 pilot majors of the Provincial Excellence in Engineer Education and Training Program. The university **** has 354 teachers, including 318 full-time teachers, 158 teachers with senior titles.
Baiyun Campus has perfect teaching and scientific research facilities, and there are 2 provincial key laboratories of basic chemistry and life science and 1 key laboratory of the Ministry of Education in the experimental center.
1. General Layout of Baiyun Campus
The general layout of Baiyun Campus is "one center, two axes and three districts".
"A center" that is, the central square of the campus, as the center of activities of teachers and students and the main traffic distribution center. "Two axes" that is, the north-south longitudinal axis, from south to north respectively for the teaching area, sports area, living area. "Three zones" that is, mainly teaching area, the highest building height of 80 meters, the remaining three building height of 50 meters.
Baiyun Campus is a new campus with modern atmosphere, reasonable planning structure, compact layout, unique architectural style, advanced functional facilities, elegant and comfortable environment. The whole campus consists of teaching area, sports area, living area and public ****service area. Among them, the teaching area is the main part of the campus, with an area of 21.2 hectares; the sports area is located in the western part of the teaching area, covering an area of 6.27 hectares; the living area is located in the eastern part of the sports area, covering an area of 9.5 hectares.
2. Public ****infrastructure
Baiyun Campus has perfect teaching and research facilities. The library has a floor area of 36,000 square meters, with a paper collection of 2,730,000 books, 1,200,000 e-books, and 821 reading seats. Baiyun Campus has an information center and a computer center with modern network and office system. Baiyun Campus has 890 student apartments (including 790 undergraduate student apartments) and 180 graduate student apartments (50 graduate student dormitories).
The Baiyun Campus has 1,020,000 square meters of modern teaching and research buildings (including 680,000 square meters of undergraduate teaching buildings and 65,000 square meters of postgraduate teaching buildings), of which 245,000 square meters of teaching and laboratory buildings, 75,000 square meters of students' experimental and internship sites, and 36,000 square meters of students' public ****activity sites.
3. Teaching and Research Facilities
Baiyun Campus covers an area of 496 mu, with perfect teaching and research facilities. There are national university science and technology parks, provincial engineering and technology research centers, provincial key laboratories and provincial engineering centers, one national key laboratory cultivation base built by the provincial ministry***, two key laboratories built by the provincial ministry*** and the Ministry of Education, one national local joint engineering research center built by the provincial ministry, one engineering and technology research center built by the provincial ministry, four provincial collaborative innovation centers, one national professional and technical personnel continuing education base, one national professional and technical personnel continuing education base, and one national professional and technical personnel continuing education base. 4. Library
The library of Changzhou University is a comprehensive literature and information center, founded in 1958, and in July 2006, it merged with Changzhou University to form the new Changzhou University Library. The new library has a building area of 30,952 square meters and more than 5,000 reading seats. The library is equipped with Chinese, foreign language, foreign language periodicals, newspapers, dissertation databases, electronic book databases and other literature and information resources databases, and can provide Chinese and foreign language book lending and returning services.
