The construction of Qinghai-Tibet Railway started on June 29, 2001, and the investment of 1.18 billion yuan was completed in that year, and the transformation of the existing line from Golmud to Nanshankou section was completed, and the roadbed of the section from Nanshankou to Wangkun basically took shape, and the test section of permafrost was begun, realizing the success of the first battle. 5.32 billion yuan of investment was completed in 2002, and the main project of the section from Golmud to Wangkun offline was completed, and the main project of the section from Wangkun to Chumal River offline was basically completed, and the main project of the section from Chumal River to Chumal River was basically completed.
