Collection resources

National University of Defense Technology. In 197, the school moved south to Changsha. In 1999, after the former Changsha Artillery College, Changsha Engineering College and Changsha Political College were merged into the National University of Defense Technology, the libraries of the three colleges were also merged into the National University of Defense Technology. The library has three buildings, including the central building located in the No.1 campus and two branches located in the No.3 and No.4 campuses, with a total construction area of 33,515 square meters and more than 3,67 reading seats, which are open for 9 hours every week.

By 213, the library of National University of Defense Technology had more than 3.2 million printed documents, including more than 2.2 million books in Chinese and foreign languages, 9, microfiches and 1, printed scientific reports and internal materials. Order more than 3 kinds of Chinese and foreign periodicals every year. A digital library including more than 8 large-scale comprehensive databases and more than 14 special databases has been built, and the international synchronous retrieval of SCI, EI, ISTP and other foreign literature databases has been realized. Through CALIS and OCLC, we have established extensive resource sharing and cooperation relations with domestic and foreign library and information institutions.
