Central catheterization environment should comply with several categories

Central catheterization environment should be in line with the "hospital disinfection health standards" in the medical institutions class II environmental requirements.

Category II environmental requirements:

The requirements for category II environments in healthcare facilities are relatively high, requiring effective air purification measures and cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization in the correct order to ensure the safety of patients and healthcare workers. Class II environments refer to the following types of environments:

1. Class II environments include non-clean surgical departments (rooms), non-clean bone marrow transplantation wards, labor and delivery wards, catheterization rooms, neonatal rooms, organ transplantation wards, burn wards, intensive care wards, and hematology wards.

2, Class II environment should be used for air purification of medium- or high-efficiency filters, including the use of circulating air ultraviolet air sterilizer or electrostatic adsorption air sterilizer for air disinfection.

3, Class II environment in use, generally using the order of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, for the patient blood, body fluids and other contamination, the first removal of pollutants, then cleaning and disinfection.

4, Class II environment object surface cleaning and disinfection should be based on different situations to choose the appropriate method, but need to meet the appropriate health requirements.

Home environment requirements:

1, clean, neat, no dust, blood and other pollutants. Fresh air, good natural ventilation, the air has the right amount of ultraviolet disinfection.

2. The floor is clean and free from water, garbage and other pollutants. Walls, furniture, equipment and other surfaces are clean and free of dust, blood and other pollutants.

3. Patients should avoid contact with pets and other situations that could contaminate catheter dressings.

Center catheter placement health education:

⒈, avoid showering during the placement of the catheter, in order to prevent water infiltration of the dressings caused by infection;

Peak, the patient rolled over and moved, pay attention to the protection, in order to prevent the catheter slipped out;

Puncture point of pain, itching and other discomforts, should be timely contact with health care personnel;

Sung, do not adjust the infusion drip rate;
