Article 5 The use of various types of motor vehicles, respectively, are as follows:

(b) leased passenger cars for 15 years;
(c) small coaches (C) 10 years for small coach passenger cars, 12 years for medium-sized coach passenger cars, and 15 years for large coach passenger cars;
(D) 13 years for bus passenger cars;
(E) 10 years for other small and micro-operating passenger cars, and 15 years for large and medium-sized operating passenger cars;
(F) 15 years for specialized school buses;

(ix) special operations vehicles with cargo function use 15 years, no cargo function of special operations vehicles use 30 years;
(k) special operations vehicles use 10 years;
(l) special school buses use 15 years;
(m) special school buses use 15 years
(j) full trailers, dangerous goods transportation semi-trailer use 10 years, container semi-trailer 20 years, other semi-trailers use 15 years;
(k) three-wheeled motorcycle use 12 years, other motorcycles use 13 years.
For small and micro-rental passenger vehicles (except pure electric vehicles) and motorcycles, the relevant departments of the people's governments of the provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government may, in the light of the actual situation in the localities, formulate regulations that are stricter than the above mentioned life span, but the life span of small and micro-rental passenger vehicles shall be not less than 6 years, that of three-wheeled motorcycles shall be not less than 10 years, and that of other motorcycles shall be not less than 11 years.
Small and miniature non-operating passenger cars, large non-operating cars and wheeled special-purpose mechanical vehicles are not subject to any restriction on the number of years of use.
The starting date of the useful life of a motor vehicle is calculated according to the date of registration, but if the registration has not been completed for more than 2 years from the date of leaving the factory, it is calculated according to the date of leaving the factory.

The Vehicle Management Office shall, within one day from the date of acceptance, review the submitted certificates and vouchers, recover the motor vehicle registration certificate, number plate, license plate, and issue a certificate of cancellation.
Article 28 In addition to the cases stipulated in Article 27 of these provisions, the owner of a motor vehicle shall apply for deregistration to the Vehicle Administration Office at the place of registration in one of the following cases:
(1) The motor vehicle has been destroyed;
(2) The motor vehicle is not used within the territory of China for any reason;
(C) the return of the car due to quality problems.
Registered motor vehicles have been registered in one of the following circumstances, the registration of the place of vehicle management office shall handle the cancellation of registration:
(a) motor vehicle registration is revoked in accordance with the law;
(b) to reach the national mandatory scrapping standards of motor vehicles are collected in accordance with the law and mandatory scrapping.
