Philippines Travel Notes No. 2: Visa, Immigration

The materials required to apply for a tourist visa to the Philippines:

1, passport or travel document valid for more than six months.

2, completed visa application form and two two-inch photos.

3. Any one of the following proofs of financial capability: letter of introduction from work unit/personal property certificate/guarantee letter from authorized travel agency in China/bank deposit certificate/internationally valid credit card/notarized guarantee letter from a Filipino citizen or a reputable Filipino company.

4. Proof of financial guarantee of at least US$5,000.

5. Confirmed round-trip air ticket.

Now, groups traveling to the Philippines can enjoy visa-on-arrival as long as they enter the country through the country's five gateways - Manila, Cebu Island, Davao, Subic, and Laoag - with the visa-on-arrival validity extended to 14 days, and visa-on-arrival is not accepted for individual travelers.

Entry:

Entry inspection: Upon arrival at the Manila International Airport, Chinese nationals are required to undergo an entry inspection in which they should present their passports and a completed entry card to the immigration officer, stating the purpose of their visit and the number of days of their stay, and then, upon verification of the officer's approval, have the entry card stamped with the words "Permission to Enter". The other half of the entry card is stamped with the words "Permission to Enter". The other half of the entry card is used as an exit card and should be kept in a safe place.

Customs: After passing the immigration inspection and collecting your luggage, you will have to go to the customs for a customs inspection. The completed Customs Declaration Form should be presented to the Customs Officer at the time of Customs clearance, and will be released only after the officer has verified and agreed to the declaration. Firearms and coffee are prohibited under Philippine Customs regulations. There is no restriction on the amount of foreign currency that can be brought into the country. Quarantine: Proof of vaccination against cowpox and cholera is not required.

Departure: Chinese citizens who have finished their Philippine sightseeing tours and before checking in for departure at Manila International Airport should first go to the counter of the airline where they have ordered their return tickets to check in for departure, then pay the airport tax, get their registration cards and baggage cards, and at the same time submit their departure cards to the airline staff for boarding and departure.

Philippines Tourism Note No. 3: Daily Life

1, food and beverage: we arranged most of the breakfast for the Chinese and Western buffet breakfast, buffet, please choose the right amount of food, please do not have leftovers in the plate too much food or pack away.
