Door interlock is not an energy isolation device
A door interlock is not an energy isolating device. Energy isolation devices are all energy isolation devices used to control the energy required by a machine to accomplish a predetermined task, which ensures that the machine is isolated from energy sources and avoids the release of dangerous energy. Door-machine interlocks, on the other hand, are safety protection devices that are usually used in conjunction with safety devices such as safety gates or safety guards to achieve safe control of the machine. The main function of the door-machine interlock is to stop the machine automatically when the door is opened, so as to avoid the occurrence of accidents due to misuse by the staff. Therefore, the door-machine interlock can not be counted as an energy isolation device.
