The most prominent feature of 5G is the fast transmission speed, and its peak theoretical transmission speed can reach 1GB every 8 seconds, which is hundreds of times faster than that of 4G networks. For example, a 1G movie can be downloaded in 8 seconds. 5G cellular technology is also conducive to edge computing, bringing critical resources and processing tasks closer to the data source and user.
