Can the hydraulic cylinder shell be welded?

Not in theory!

General manufacturers will post warning signs on oil cylinders or accumulators. It is expressly stipulated that unauthorized welding is not allowed, mainly for safety reasons, which poses personal safety risks.

But in fact, the outer surface of the cylinder body of the hydraulic cylinder can often be welded with some small bosses or some small cable ties to install the beard and fix the pipe clamp.
