Graduates of the program are mainly employed to: Shanghai Airworthiness Certification Center, Shenyang Airworthiness Certification Center and other airworthiness certification and management departments, China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Air China, Shenzhen Airlines and other civil aviation units, as well as the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Shanghai Aviation Electrical Apparatus Company Limited, Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute and other civil aviation design and manufacturing units.

Development Prospects

The Airworthiness Technology program was founded to meet the urgent development needs of China's civil aircraft design, production, use and maintenance, relying on the National Defense Council's shortage of disciplines - airworthiness technology and management, and adopting a master's degree outstanding students. The program adopts the mode of cultivation of outstanding students, through the admission and selection, and cooperates with the majors of aircraft design, aero-engine, avionics, avionics, aircraft electrical appliances, and aircraft manufacturing engineering, etc. In the first three years, the students study the specialized knowledge of aircraft, engine, aircraft system and on-board equipment, and aircraft manufacturing, and then concentrate on the knowledge of the technology and management of the airworthiness certification of aircrafts in the fourth year, and then, after the examination, they will be exempted from the examination for the master's degree directly. After graduation, the program will be awarded the Master of Engineering degree.
