Urban Planning of Fuzhou Strait International Convention and Exhibition Center

The Fuzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall (Temporary Exhibition Area) is located in Pavilion No. 8 of the Straits International Convention and Exhibition Center (SICEC) Pavilion, which is a transitional site during the construction of the new Fuzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall (under construction, located on the east side of the Straits International Convention and Exhibition Center), which is open to the public free of charge when various exhibitions are held at the Convention and Exhibition Center. The pavilion publicizes the magnificent development plan of Fuzhou city and demonstrates the rapidly changing construction style of the banyan city.

The main exhibition hall of the temporary exhibition hall covers an area of 5,000 square meters, which displays the beautiful picture scroll of Fuzhou city in accordance with the planning of the West Coast City Cluster and the construction of the Fuzhou metropolitan area by sand table, three-dimensional ring screen theater and other ways of expression.

The right side of the exhibition hall is a model showroom, displaying the Fuzhou City Master Plan sand table model; with a scale of 1:1000, covering the Fuzhou city planning area, is currently the largest model area in China, the use of sound, light, electricity, film and other multimedia means of demonstration of the activities of the model, the showroom is also displayed around the city of Fuzhou urban planning, construction achievements in pictures. The history exhibition hall is a ladder-type exhibition hall. The exhibition is divided into "history", "modern" and "future" three parts, reflecting the vicissitudes of Fuzhou, a famous historical and cultural city for more than 2,200 years, while also showing the future of the city under revision. It also shows the concept of the future Fuzhou City Master Plan, which is under revision, depicting a brilliant development blueprint for the construction of Fuzhou, the provincial capital city on the west coast of the Taiwan Strait.
