Internship experience in the operating room
Time really does not wait for people, a turn of the first internship is over, and have to devote themselves to the next section, a little reluctant, but also the next section of the expectations, thanks to the one-month period so that I have gained a lot.
In retrospect, it was unforgettable. I have never entered the operating room, the first internship department is the operating room, the heart is both excited and fear, with such a mood, I came to this mysterious place. I remember just stepped into, the teacher strictly require us to change shoes, wear a good surgical cap and mask, so that I experienced the operating room of the strong concept of asepsis, and then under the leadership of the teacher, familiar with the operating room environment, rules and regulations and the requirements of the principle of aseptic operation, practiced laying aseptic tray, playing aseptic bag, folding surgical gowns, in the single, the package cloth, cloth towels, empty towels and so on. I learned a lot of different operations from the teachers at school.
After that, I was fortunate to be assigned to Ms. Zhang, who is very patient and meticulous in her work, and has been dedicated to medical work for 20 years, never complaining about anything, which I both admire and envy. I admired and envied her. I learned a lot from her patient teaching. She has been working in the gynecology operating room as a visiting nurse, so I learned the most about laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries, and then basically about cesarean section, orthopedics, circumcision, gallbladder appendectomy, and some urinary stones and many other surgeries. I was able to see the cooperation of preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative instrument nurses, visiting nurses, doctors and anesthesiologists, and experienced their selfless dedication. This makes me fantasize from time to time when I can also become one of them, with the doctor to save the patient, but the reality is that I'm still a trainee nurse, must go through deeper learning and training to get on the stage, so firmly my goal, work hard, I hope that someday I can also get on the operating table to save the patient.
During the internship period, every day 15 minutes early to the operating room, and students with each operating room and fill up the liquid, 8 o'clock after the shift has been followed by Mr. Zhang ass back, do what you can, although it is a small thing, but also cultivate a personal careful and serious. For example, if you go to the sterile instrument room to get items, you must strictly check them and not take the wrong ones or exceed the expiration date. I also watched the playing instrument package, recognized a lot of unfamiliar instruments, and also did the preoperative opening of sterile packages, handing sterile gloves to the doctor, wearing sterile surgical gowns, pouring sterile solutions, preparing surgical fluids, changing medications and other things. I have increased the concept of asepsis, and basically mastered the use of the electric knife, and understood the other equipment in the operating room and the steps of injecting indwelling needles. More learned to communicate with the patient's exchange and communication, just into the operating room when the patient from my hands, they all have a **** the same psychological characteristics: nervousness, fear, slow reaction, depression and other bad mood, for each patient to come in is a special experience, they come in are helpless. I am thankful that many times I have communicated well with them to give them a peace of mind to face the surgery and they are not so scared anymore. It taught me the importance of preoperative psychological care and that we must be kind. Finally, I also cooperate with the anesthesiologist to do the anesthesia patient accompaniment and observation, as well as together with the instructor to do preoperative visits.
A month soon, I learned the knowledge at the same time, not inevitably also physically and mentally exhausted, so that I have experienced the sweet and sour, to become a surgical nurse is not so easy to imagine, in order to rescue them sometimes forget to eat, one stop is several hours. But when you see you and the doctor together to pull the patient back from the death line, restored health, looking at the patient and the family to reveal a satisfied smile, that kind of happy, relieved feeling, is no one can not experience, as a nurse at that time of happiness. Here I have learned a lot, I am very grateful to have been carefully taught my teachers, from them to realize that wearing uniforms, we must be responsible for each patient's life, each patient as their own loved ones. In the work to always keep a good attitude, to be serious, careful, to do the most perfect. Therefore, I must work harder to learn professional knowledge and improve my professionalism, and at the same time, I must change my sometimes sloppy, careful, and do everything to the utmost satisfaction! I hope I can do well in the next section!
I carefully recommend
