Yosemite's personal space purifier is packaged in a simple white paper box with brand LOGO, product name and basic information marked on the box.
Open the box cover, you can see that the personal air purifier is fixed in the middle of the lining box, which is very small! The power adapter is placed on the side of the inner box.

The output of the power adapter is 5V, 1A, which can be powered by mobile power supply, and the other end is a MicroB USB interface, which can be used to connect the purifier.
The purifier takes white as the main color, supplemented by gray-blue stripes, which is just right, giving people a simple aesthetic feeling. The fuselage is made of ABS environmentally-friendly flame retardant plastic, with a power switch and mode switch button on the front and a WiFi indicator below.
On the back, there are air volume shift buttons (3-speed adjustable) and MicroB USB power interface, and anti-slip belts with three protrusions and four recesses are designed on both sides, which increases the grip and aesthetics of the product.
The top surface is a grille-shaped air outlet. Besides two negative ion emitting carbon brushes, two negative ion emitting needle rings are hidden in the circular hole of the rectangular groove. Carbon brush can release pure negative ions, and steel needle can release composite ions and negative ions at the same time. After a period of use, the carbon brush and needle ring will be attached with a lot of dust, which can be cleaned with the attached cotton swab.
The bottom is designed with an air inlet and an annular anti-skid pad, and also printed with basic information such as product model, voltage and power. A silent turbofan is installed in the purifier. Driven by the fan, air is sucked in from the bottom and discharged from the top. At the same time, the negative ion emitting end negatively charges the air, thus releasing a large number of negative oxygen ions.
The base of the purifier is a dust collection module, which can be opened by clockwise rotation. Inside is a washable black round filter cotton. After using it for a while, I found a lot of dust on the filter cotton, indicating that the indoor air quality is not optimistic. Clean the filter cotton with clean water, dry it, put it back on the base and rotate it counterclockwise to reset it.

The purifier has two working modes, namely negative ion fresh mode and compound ion purification mode. The two modes mainly release negative ions. The fresh mode releases pure negative ions with small particle size, which is good for skin, respiratory system and blood. The purification mode releases compound ions and negative ions at the same time, which has a stronger bactericidal effect.
When the blue light is on, the purifier works in the compound ion purification mode, which is suitable for continuous and powerful purification after people leave.
When the green light is on, the purifier is in the negative ion fresh mode, which is suitable for the space where people move. In this mode, you can also breathe negative oxygen ions directly by hand. Negative oxygen ions with small particle size have a good medical effect, which can obviously improve blood oxygen content, improve human immunity and consolidate weak alkaline constitution. I tried it for a while, and every time I used it, I felt refreshed, as if I were in the forest after the rain, and I felt particularly comfortable!
When operating, press the power button to turn off the light strip, which will not affect sleep at night. It is a very intimate design.
This purifier supports remote control of mobile APP. Search and download the "Yosemite" APP in the mobile application market, and follow the prompts to install it. However, the connection of the APP is slightly different from other products. You need to connect the WiFi“YOSEMITE "that comes with the purifier first, and then use the" user-free login "mode to enter the APP.
After entering the APP, click the "blue circle exclamation mark" to modify the device name, and click the WiFi icon to bind the family WiFi account.
After binding, you can see the specific binding situation in the APP, and then log in to the personal center to realize WiFi remote control. But what makes me feel strange is that the "help" and "about" of the personal center are the contents of psychological consultation, which seems to have little to do with Yosemite.
Through the APP, you can freely switch between two working modes-green "fresh mode" and blue "fresh/clean mode", and you can also adjust the air volume and background lighting. You can also know the local temperature and humidity and PM2.5 in real time by clicking the "PM2.5" button, but this function cannot be used normally because it is currently in the crowdfunding stage.
Click the "gear" button in the lower left corner to set parameters such as timing start time, working mode, air volume and background lighting.
I want to emphasize that there are still some problems with the compatibility of this APP. At first, I installed APP with Android 7.0 system, but I can only directly connect to the WiFi "Yosemite" that comes with the purifier for control. I can't normally bind the WiFi account at home, and I can't realize the remote control of WiFi. The direct control is intermittent and the connection signal is poor. Later, I tried Android 4.4 system and found that Android 4.4 can solve the above problems well. It seems that the APP is not perfectly compatible with the high-end Android system.
Performance test: low-power silent mode, start a healthy new life
1. Power consumption
In standby mode (plug in the power supply, but do not turn on the power switch), the power consumption is 0.25 watts. When the purifier is in the green "fresh mode", the power consumption of 0, 1 and 2 air volume gears is 1. 15 watt, 1.36 watt and 1.56 watt respectively.
When the purifier is in blue "purification mode", the power consumption of 0, 1 and 2 air flow gears is1.38W,1.62W and1.76W respectively.
2. Wind speed
When the purifier is turned on, it will automatically be in the maximum air flow gear 2, at which time the wind speed at the outlet is 1.0m/s, and the air flow at other gears is small, and the value displayed by the wind speed tester is 0.
3. Noise
In the noise test, the decibel value at the distance from the sound source 1 m is generally used to measure the noise. The author measured the noise this time at a distance of 0.5 meters from the purifier. When the power supply is turned off, the background noise is about 37.5 dBA. When the purifier is turned on, in the green "fresh mode", the measured data displayed by the noise tester is 37.7 dBA.
In the blue "purification mode", the author feels that the noise of the purifier is slightly larger, and the measurement data displayed by the noise tester is 37.8 dBA. It can be seen from the test results that there is little difference between the running noise of the machine and the environmental noise at a distance of 0.5 meters from the purifier. Even without considering the environmental noise, the noise of about 38 dBA (equivalent to whispering) is quite quiet. If measured at a distance of 1 m, the value will be lower.
The measured maximum power consumption of the purifier is less than 2 watts, which is in line with official website's claim that it is less than 3 watts and the working noise is less than 38 dBA. It's really quiet and energy saving.
I wanted to test the purification effect of the purifier, but the climbing vine G5 detector in my hand could not be used in negative ion environment, so I had to give up. In addition, I also want to test the concentration of negative ions and ozone released by the purifier by renting negative ions and ozone detector, but it is a pity that it was not measured for some reasons. However, after this period of trial, the author found that staying near the purifier can obviously feel that the air quality is better than other places. In the "fresh mode", deep breathing negative ions is really comfortable!
