The current status of Qionglai Medical Center Hospital:

The hospital now covers an area of more than 136,000 square meters (more than 204 acres), with a construction area of more than 58,460 square meters. The new outpatient emergency medical building is under construction, to be officially put into use in July 2011, the new rehabilitation center building is being designed. The hospital now has 1,003 beds (average daily number of patients in bed is nearly 950). The hospital currently has three hospital districts (People's Hospital District, Hospital District of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Infectious Diseases Hospital District) and also manages two branches (Pingle Branch, Yangan Branch).

The hospital has 1001 employees, 1 doctoral degree, 1 doctoral degree, 25 master's degrees, 325 undergraduate degrees; 2 senior titles, 57 deputy senior titles, 279 intermediate titles; Luzhou Medical College, part-time professors and associate professors 15 people. The hospital will select and send the outstanding employees who are interested in clinical medicine career to attend clinical on-the-job master's degree or doctoral study, and better provide a platform for the hospital's outstanding young people to show their talents.

The hospital has 9 inpatient wards of internal medicine, 5 inpatient wards of surgery, 1 inpatient ward of obstetrics and gynecology, 2 inpatient wards of pediatrics, 2 inpatient wards of Pentacenter (including eye, ear, nose and throat, oral cavity), 1 inpatient ward of infectious diseases, 2 inpatient wards of oncology, 2 inpatient wards of rehabilitation and physiotherapy and 1 inpatient ward of dermatology.

Currently, the hospital carries out the following services; internal medicine (cardiovascular, respiratory, gastroenterology, hematology, endocrinology, nephrology and neurology), surgery (general surgery, thoracic surgery, orthopedics and traumatology, urology and neurosurgery), obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, otorhinolaryngology, emergency medicine, dentistry, dermatology, traditional Chinese medicine, Chinese and Western medicine (traditional Chinese medicine ophthalmology and traditional Chinese and Western medicine and anorectal medicine), and radiotherapy, Testing, Medical Imaging, Pathology, etc.

In addition to conventional equipment, the hospital has CT (2 sets), magnetic **** vibration imaging, automatic biochemical analyzer, automatic chemiluminescence, cobalt 60 (2 sets), medical linear gas pedal and several color ultrasound and other high-end equipment, providing modern means of diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

The hospital's business covers all townships in the city and radiates to the neighboring counties of Xinjin, Pujiang, Mingshan, Lushan and Dayi, as well as to the regions of Ganzi and Tibet. The hospital is a clinical teaching internship hospital of West China, Luzhou Medical College, Ganzi Health School and a training base for in-service health personnel in Kangding, a member of the Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital (Group), and a collaborative hospital of the Second People's Hospital of Chengdu City.

The hospital is in the process of creating a tertiary general hospital.
