What is the vertical sedimentation tank in the integrated sewage treatment equipment?

Sedimentation tank is a kind of equipment to remove suspended solids from water and purify water by sedimentation. Vertical flow sedimentation tank is one of the forms of sedimentation tank, which is a sedimentation tank for vertical flow of sewage. The plane shape of the tank body is round or square. Water enters the box body from top to bottom through a water inlet pipe arranged in the center of the box body. An umbrella baffle is arranged below the pipeline, so that the wastewater is evenly distributed in the pool and slowly rises along the whole water passage. Suspended solids settle into the conical sludge hopper at the bottom of the tank, and clarified water flows out from the periphery of the tank along the peripheral overflow weir. In the integrated equipment, vertical sedimentation tanks are mostly steel structure tanks, and their principles and design parameters are the same as those of concrete structures. Please refer to the water supply and drainage design manual for specific design parameters.
