At present, 80,000-ton oil terminal, 50,000-ton container terminal have been completed, 100,000-ton coal terminal, 150,000-ton ore terminal is under construction.

With the development of the port, the advantages of the interaction between port production and port-related industries gradually emerge. The development of Gaolan Port has not only driven the development of Zhuhai's large-scale electric power, petrochemicals, shipping, aviation, equipment manufacturing and other advantageous industries with international competitiveness, successfully attracted Shell Oil, BP Chemicals and other Fortune 500 companies as well as China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC), China Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), etc., to invest in Zhuhai, but also driven the formation of Zhuhai's regional logistics center, which greatly enhances Zhuhai's regional competitiveness and influence, and has become the key to building a core city on the West Coast core city of the key.
