Shortcomings of ZigBee:
1, small transmission range
Without the use of power amplifiers, the effective transmission range of ZigBee nodes is generally 10 to 75 m, which can only cover ordinary homes and offices.
2, low data transmission rate
In the 2.4 GHz frequency band is only 250 Kb/s, and this is only the link rate, in addition to the frame header overhead, channel contention, answering and retransmission, the real rate of the application may be less than 100 Kb/s, and the remaining rate may be neighboring multiple nodes and the same node of multiple applications.
