Hospital sewage discharge standards

Hospital sewage discharge standards include:

1, the amount of sewage discharged per bed per day is about 200-1000L;

2, untreated raw sewage contains a total of 10^8 bacteria/mL or more.

Control of water pollution, protection of rivers, lakes, canals, channels, reservoirs and oceans and other surface water as well as groundwater quality in good condition, to protect human health, maintain ecological balance, and to promote the development of the national economy and urban and rural construction.

The treatment of medical wastewater is currently usually two major categories:

1, pretreatment;

2, depth treatment.

Pre-treatment is generally filtration, sedimentation, disinfection and other simple treatment processes, treatment generally meets the standards of natatorium; deep treatment that is, pretreatment plus biochemical treatment, treatment generally meets the national discharge standards. Common ordinary aeration method, oxidation ditch method, A/B method, A2/O method belongs to the former, biological turntable, contact oxidation method belongs to the latter. Small-scale medical wastewater biochemical treatment commonly used processes are: A/O process, MBR process, SBR process, CASS process. Medical wastewater integration equipment mostly used in the improved AO method and MBR method, the core of the two are mainly biological treatment, just MBR process in the end of sewage treatment to add a set of membrane treatment system, so that the effluent quality of wastewater is better and more stable.

Water pollutant discharge standards for medical institutions specifically include:

1, sewage discharge requirements;

2, infectious diseases and tuberculosis medical institutions sewage discharge to implement the provisions of Table 1;

3, county and above or 20 beds and more comprehensive medical institutions and other medical institutions sewage discharge to implement the provisions of Table 2. Sewage discharged directly or indirectly into surface water bodies and sea areas implement the discharge standards, and sewage discharged into sewers whose terminals have been built with normal operation of urban secondary sewage treatment plants implement the pre-treatment standards;

4. Sewage from comprehensive medical institutions and all other medical institutions below the county level or with less than 20 beds can be discharged after disinfection;

5. Discharging sewage to GB3838I is prohibited, Class II waters and Class III waters of the drinking water protection zones and swimming areas, GB3097 Class I and Class II waters directly discharged medical institutions sewage;

6, with infectious disease room of the integrated medical institutions, should be infectious disease room sewage and non-infectious disease room sewage separate. Sewage and feces from infectious disease rooms shall be disinfected before they are combined with other sewage.
