What are the requirements for entering a university and wanting to change majors?

Students can change their majors or schools during the study period under any of the following circumstances:

(1) Students have special skills that can be better utilized by changing majors or schools;

(2) Students who have discovered a certain disease or physiological defects after enrolling in school can't study in their original majors as diagnosed by the medical unit designated by the school, but they can still study in the relevant majors in the university or other institutions of higher education

(3) The school recognizes that the student has some special difficulties and cannot continue his/her study without changing majors or transferring to another school;

(4) Undergraduate students have difficulties in their study and ask for transferring to a specialized school;

(5) According to the situation of employment and the demand of the society for talents, the school thinks that it is really necessary to adjust the majors of a small number of students.

What conditions are not allowed to transfer

The following conditions are generally not allowed to change majors and schools:

(1) transferring from a general institution to a key institution (including provincial key institutions);

(2) transferring from a specialist to a bachelor's degree or a "specializing in bachelor's degree";

(3) the new students have not completed one semester of enrollment. (c) New students who have been enrolled for less than one semester;

(d) Those who have transferred from counterpart enrollment to unified enrollment, or those who have the same counterpart enrollment but have different subjects in the entrance examination;

(e) Those who have been enrolled in more than the third year of undergraduate studies or more than the second year of specialized studies if the academic year system is implemented;

(f) Those who have a large span of disciplines;

(g) Those who have scored a score of the entrance examination (viii) Those whose scores on the college entrance examination are lower than the minimum admission score line of the year for the major to which they are to be transferred;

(viii) Those who have been suspended from the university and retained in the university, or who have withdrawn from the university during the suspension period, or those who have withdrawn from the university on trial.

What are the procedures for transfer

(1) The applicant shall apply to his/her faculty (department or school).

(2) The students shall change their majors within the scope of the University, which shall be examined and approved by their departments (faculties and institutes) and the departments (faculties and institutes) to which they are to be transferred, and then approved by the University and reported to the Provincial Department of Education for the record.

(3) Students transferring to other schools within the province shall be approved by the transferring and transferring schools, and the transferring schools shall report the transferring schools to the Provincial Department of Education for approval.

(4) The transfer of students from higher education institutions in this province to higher education institutions in other provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) shall be subject to the consent of the transferring school, and together with the acceptance letter of the transferring school, it shall be reported to the Provincial Department of Education for examination and consent, and the Provincial Department of Education shall liaise with the competent provincial education department of the school to be transferred to, and shall be approved by the said department.

(5) If a student of a higher education institution in a foreign province (autonomous region or municipality directly under the central government) intends to be transferred to a higher education institution in this province, he/she shall obtain the consent of the transferring school and the transferring school, and the transferring school shall report to the competent provincial education department of the province where it is located for examination and consent, and the transferring school shall report to the Provincial Department of Education for examination and approval.

(6) The approval of the transfer shall be copied to the public security department where the school is located. Cross-provincial (autonomous regions and municipalities), the transfer of schools, by the transfer to the province (autonomous regions and municipalities), the competent department of education copied to the transfer to the public security department where the school.
