The Chaozhou City Central Blood Station is responsible for the city's non-remunerated blood donation recruitment, blood collection, component preparation, blood storage, supply and clinical blood guidance and other tasks. At present, 100% of the clinical blood comes from unpaid blood donation, with an annual blood collection volume of 3.6 tons (3.6 million ml), a blood supply volume of about 3.2 tons, and more than 99% of clinical component blood transfusion. The blood station adheres to the concept of scientific and safe clinical blood transfusion, and at the same time provides technical consultation and business guidance on blood transfusion. It has held business training courses for the city's medical units for many times, inviting Guangzhou Blood Center and famous blood experts in the province to give lectures and technical guidance. In the past years, the blood station has been qualified or excellent in the inter-room quality assessment of the Ministry of Health and the province, and has been awarded the titles of excellent grass-roots party branch, May 4th Youth Civilization No. and so on.
