528100. Sanshui District is located in the central part of Guangdong Province, the northwestern end of the Pearl River Delta, northwest of Foshan City. Because of the Xijiang, Beijiang, Suijiang 3 rivers converge in the territory and named. Sanshui city center is 30 kilometers east of Guangzhou City, 24 kilometers southeast of Chancheng District, Foshan City. The total area is 827.69 square kilometers.
Sanshui District has two cargo import and export terminals, Sanshui Port and Southwest Port. With a strong manufacturing base, it is an important production base for auto parts, medical equipment, automated machinery and equipment, electronic appliances, electronic and electrical engineering, and beverages and foodstuffs. It is known as "China's first affluent longevity township" and "China's beverage capital".
Topography and Geomorphology:Sanshui District has a complex topography and geomorphology, including low mountains, hills, plains, depressions, etc., which makes it diversified in land use. Sanshui District has a long and narrow topography, 68km apart in the north and south, 30km apart in the east and west, with the terrain tilting from northwest to southeast, which is a semi-hilly area.
