What is the difference between furniture and equipment in accounting English?

I am an English teacher, my students and I often identify English vocabulary, furniture and equipment are two common words, these two words are easy to be confused, their focus and usage are different, as follows:

I: Meaning

furniture English [? p>furniture 英 [?f?n?t?(r)] ? U.S. [?f?rn?t?r] ?n. (movable) furniture; equipment; storage

equipment 英 [?kw?pm?nt] ? 美 [?kw?pm?nt] ?n. equipment; device; furnishing; outfit

Similarity: both can mean ''equipment''.

Differences: equipment: focuses on medical equipment; furniture: focuses on furniture, recreational facilities.

Two: Usage Distinction

furniture is a general term for "furniture", which refers to large, movable items indoors, and is an uncountable noun with no plural form. Furniture is a collective noun (some books call it a collective noun), which has no plural form and cannot be used with an indefinite article, and is always singular in meaning.

The word "equipment" is a generic uncountable noun.
